Position Overview:
We are seeking a technically sound Pre-Sales Engineer with expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS) and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Systems. The ideal candidate will have 7–8 years of relevant experience and will play a critical role in supporting the business development team by designing, optimizing, and demonstrating systems to consultants and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
· Pre-Sales Design:
· – Develop detailed system designs and technical solutions for BMS and ELV systems based on customer requirements.
· – Create and review system architecture diagrams, schematics, and BOQs.
· Technical Support for Business Development:
· – Collaborate with the business development team to provide technical guidance and ensure the proposed solutions meet customer expectations.
· – Assist in technical discussions with consultants, contractors, and customers during the pre-sales phase.
· Optimization of Solutions:
· – Analyze and recommend cost-effective and efficient designs to optimize system performance.
· – Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in BMS and ELV systems for solution enhancement.
· Demonstrations and Presentations:
· – Conduct system demonstrations and presentations to consultants, end-users, and customers as required.
· – Prepare and deliver technical proposals and presentations showcasing the benefits and functionalities of the proposed solutions.
· Coordination and Documentation:
· – Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and accurate technical documentation.
· – Prepare technical write-ups and responses for tenders, RFQs, and RFPs.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Experience: 7–8 years in BMS and ELV systems design, pre-sales, or technical consulting.
· Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of BMS, ELV systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, etc.), and integration with other systems.
· Tools & Software: Proficiency in design and simulation tools, such as AutoCAD, Visio, or equivalent.
· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze customer requirements and develop creative, tailored solutions.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
