Solutioning & Engineering (Pre & Post)

Skills Required:

1. Very Strong knowledge of Core BMS systems, IBMS System and other ELV Systems like Access Controls, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Public Address, etc. and Integrations of DG, UPS, LT, HT, Energy Meter, Water Meter, BTU Meter, CPM, etc.

2. Must have great exposure of BMS Engineering & Tendering Project life cycle understanding and strong understanding of BMS BOQ & BOM, Point to Point Wiring, Configurations, Sensors & Actuators and Signals & Integrations.

3. Must be able to generate, prepare and manage Pre-Sales and Post-sales submissions and submittals with all the required documentations as per customer and sales expectations.

4. Must able to generate, prepare and manage BMS Engineering & Tendering along with IO Summaries, BOQ & BOM, Point to Point Wiring, Configurations Documents, Integration Documents, etc.

5. Proficient in understanding of Engineering, Design, Solution, Installation and Testing-Commissioning Practices & Processes.

6. Must be strong candidate who can set the processes and lead it from the front as & when required.

7. Proficient in understanding of related Practices around Detail Engineering, Cost Optimization and Value Engineering with site engineering.

8. Sound Knowledge of BMS & Related Products (Sensors, Actuators, Gateways, Converters, etc.) & MEP Equipment.

9. Very Proficient in understanding of Installation Topologies like MSTP, RTU, RS485, RS232 with all its detail engineering aspects and impacts.

10. Very Proficient in understanding of Installation Protocols like BACnet, Modbus, KNX, N2, Lon Works with all its detail engineering aspects and impacts.

11. Sound Knowledge of Logistic Management, Installation Vendor Management, 3rd Party Supplier Management

12. Good Site Coordination Skills to get the work done from Internal Project Teams, System Integrators & Installation Partners & Other Site Vendors.

13. Great Verbal & Mail Communication Skills for professional follow-ups.

14. Good Relationship Management Skills Internal & External for smooth flow of Process.

15. Must be smart enough to understand the site priorities & manage the things accordingly.

16. Good customer/vendor relationship management skills while introduced as Engineering Department representative during Technical Meetings and Trainings and Demonstrations.

17. Strong personality to deal with vendors/suppliers and escalations and pressure situations if any.

18. Good customer relationship management skills for amendments and recurring business.

19. Strong personality to deal with internal stakeholders and escalations if any.

20. Strong T&C & Device Detail’s Knowledge of all IBMS systems with software packages of it.

21. Strong Hardware Device Detail’s Knowledge of all IBMS systems with its configurations.

22. Quick Learner & Grasper of New IBMS devices at scale like IOT, Cloud, AI & ML.

23. Good Understanding of Engineering, Installation, T&C & Site Polices, HSE Policies, Quality Policies, etc.

Job Description:

A person with Strong IBMS System knowledge should understand & manage the Internal & External Engineering requirements during Solutioning, Value Engineering, Tendering, Post Sales Installations, T&C and Trainings.

A person shall be smart enough make, understand and validated the high quality IFC Drawings, Tender Documents, IO Summaries, Specification & Compliance Documentations, BOQ & BOM, RFQ validations, etc.

A Person shall execute and shall be involved in the end-to-end Engineering & Solutioning starting from Project Design, Bid, Tender, Proposal and Implementation to Handing over with Training.

A person shall understand requirements & plan project priorities using appropriate validations and required Internal & External Documentations.

A person shall able to judge the priority & gravity of the internal & external project situations & clearly communicate the stack holders either internal or external and manage smooth coordination between all the parties.

A person shall understand the requirement of Project from shared inputs clearly so can take independent decisions without affecting time & quality of deliverables by keeping the stack holders informed.

A person shall be expected to demonstrate the behaviors like hardworking, smart, self-motivated, ready to learn approach, willing to do & problem solver attitude.

A person shall be strong enough to handle the site escalations related to device malfunctions in SOPs, Configurations, Integrations deployment with ready to do approach.

A person shall do quickly & fruit full follow-ups for the 3rd Party system Integration vendors/Application Mangers to fetch registry files & interface data before the T&C started by coordinating with Project installations manager & teams.

A person shall understand & plan site Internal & External T&C across using appropriate protocol & topology as set during its own Solution Designing process. A Person shall make sure of the whole IBMS System’s end-to-end T&C process is in line with the customer expectation, quality and on time delivery.

A person shall clearly understand the customer application requirement of the equipment & manage the Design, Engineering, T&C and related processes internally & externally by supporting application managers accordingly.

A person shall understand the hardware clearly so can take independent change/update decisions without affecting time & quality of Design, Engineering, Solution, Cost, installations & T&C internally & externally by informing the concerned stakeholders.

Person must maintain itself as presentable for the client/consultant/partner/collaboration meetings, demonstrations, trainings and expo. etc.

A person shall travel to PAN India sites as & when required (30% of the Year/Month/Week).
